Uh, we have a problem..

I moved my comp downstairs a few months ago (damn parents and their nagging >:( >:( >:( ;D) and I seem to have lost my CFS3 disc 2. I have disc 1, but I've searched the house for nearly a month and I cant find disc 2. I was wondering if I could borrow the data from someone's disc 2, over an email or something. I know that this might sound like a scam, which is why i dont ask for disc 1.  I know that if I only have disc 2 then I still cant install it. I dont really expect much to come by this, but I was just wondering if I dont have to buy it again.
Thanks in advance (if anyone answers ;D ;D)

PS. I formatted my HD before I realised that I'd lost the disc. real bummer, eh?

Write to M$ explaining your predicament. They might have a missing disc replacement service type thing.

I dunno. Go through all the documentation that comes with CFS3 and see if you can find an email address or something. Either that or go through their website.

They've got a link to post your query on the site itself, but somehow the link isnt working. according to M$, they have the link, they have an entire page talking about it, but when you click on it, it doesnt exist...

PS. I think M$ could really use a better website...

Well, you don't get rich to M$ levels by being nice and helpful. ::) :P

LOL! Have you seen the movie "Antitrust"? It's based around M$, where the boss is ordering people killed for their code. makes me feel edgy... *Screams and runs away*

Actually, I have found MS to be very helpful every time I call them.  Back in FS2000, my disc one cracked and they sent me an entire copy of the game.  It all depends on two things.  First, you must be the REGISTERED owner of that game.  If you are not, how do they know you didn't just bootleg it and can't find the second disc?  Second, it's all in how you treat people.  If you are nice to them, generally they will be nice and helpful to you.

The sermon ends here...
