CFS3 Korea v1.3 update released

After being offline for sometime following a server crash I have gotten the Korean Skies website back online, for the most part.

Right now one of the few things available for download is a new update for the KTCS. Version 1.3 fixes many of the issues with the campaigns not working, you will now be able to fly against truck and tanks convoys, troops consentrations ond other stuff that was unavalable before. Unfortuanetly the problems with the water still exist so you will still see ground troops on the land but we are hoping to find a fix for this.

I will upload the upgrade here once we get some feedback and feel the installers is fully functional.

If you are still having problems you can e-mail me at dpc_dakota@yahoo.com the Sim-Outhouse e-mail automatically rejects alot of e-mail providers due to high spam coming from their servers.

all it was that i was given a mission to fly in a campaign but whn i got within 5 miles i couldnt go aznyfurther and complete it because it was right at the edgr of the map.....

any ideas why i see artillary in the sea?? and ammo dumps.... and dug in tanks????

We had to cheat to make the water look like water. Microsoft left out the water information from the Scenery SDK and as of right now we still have not solved teh puzzle on how to make water that is not actually land with blue textures. So the way it is currently CFS3 does not see water but ground so it spawns land units on it. We are working on sorting it out for both Korea, and the MAW (the scenery is being made by the same person for the Med) so hopefully we can have a fix for it in the future.
