ok i know you can use fs98 aircraft on cfs3 but when i do, it shows the cockpit and everything but when you look out the winshield its just black, if i look to the left, right, and back i can see scenery but looking forward i can only see the gauges and blackness where the scenery should be. does anyone know why it does this?

Do you mean CFS2?  The FS98 and CFS3 file structure aren't compatible.
