Main Menu Crash

Does anyone have a problem with the game crashing at the main menu? (Where the camera circles around the pilot and his plane.) I can play the game fine on full graphic settings, but the main menu crashes after being on it for too long. I have to set up games real quick which makes it tough to play. Is there a way to change the menu to just a flat picture like it is in safest settings? All help would be greatly appreciated.

To disable pre-flight animations:

1. Open Notepad (click Start on the Windows taskbar, click Programs, click Accessories, and then click Notepad).
2. On the File menu, click Open.
3. In the Open dialog box, navigate to game.xml and open the file.

Note: The location of this file depends on where you've installed CFS3. The default location is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\CFS3\game.xml.


4. In game.xml, change "ShowUIWorld=true" to "ShowUIWorld=false".
5. Save game.xml, and then run CFS3.
