Wing/Fuselage/Tail/Nose colors

Lots of great re-paints out there, but...

If one wants to use the stock aircraft skins, but either: 1) Get rid of the wing tip/fuselage/tail/nose stripes,
2) Change the colors to more realistic colors (i.e., How about Sky Type "S" for fuselage bands and spinners on all RAF aircraft while eliminating wing tip and tail colors),
or 3) Be able to turn off the colors or relocate them to more realistic locations as needed,

How does one do this? Even if one of the color options for each of these areas was "none" (like can be chosen with nose art), this would be preferable to bright green wing tips on a Typhoon.

Any help out there?  ???

I have tried and failed to do all the above. The colours for the band things seems to be hidden in a really well hidden location. And to move them you will need to repaint the aircraft and do other stuff which is too much bother.

But for advice in colours. White works well for wing tips and tails. Red works well for Spinners and fuselarge bands and Black works well for bands around the wings (like on the tempest).
