problems with multiplayer

I've got a problem playin on multiplayer... After the login in, and selecting the server, I often get the message:
"your game version is incompatible with the server's version.  (protocol mismatch)
This is realy annoyin and I'ld appreciate if somebody could help. I now downloaded the 3.1 patch but the message keeps showing up. Some servers work though... but the coolest ones don't.

Hey, me again. Doesn't anyone else has this problem ? Or nobody knows how to fix it ? I tried a lot of things yet but it keeps coming back. If somebody knows a way to help it would be grate if you told it... Thanx anyway

By any chance are you using the no-CD patch?

Yes I am using the No-CD patch, and no I didn't copy CFS3. I bought it with a friend (makes it cheaper) and we can't have the cd's both. You really think that could be the problem? I'll ask the original cd's so that I can try.

I've used the no-CD patch before for Multiplayer, and it gets rid of most of your RAF aircarft. I thought that might be the problem.. but its throwing this message up at me too. :-/

If you have installed the patch you will not match those who have not and visa-versa.

yeah, I guessed it had to do with that, so I installed the patch, but then the message apeared even more often... . So I reinstalled.
