It's the strangest thing. I've been playing CFS3 for a little while now and just suddenly the crosshair that is shown when you are in the cockpit is not centred.  :o

You know when you are in the cockpit and you press F5 with the virtual cockpit off and the dials ang guages come up on the screen with the black crosshair.  Well, the black crosshair is not centred in the screen but up and off to the left.  It's useless for aiming and I want to get it back to normal. Any Ideas?

that would normally happen if your views are the panning type. i dont think its happens with the 3.1 update though. i had this problem once and after trying to fix it by pressing scroll lock on the keyboard (do that too) it still wouldnt work so i had to reinstall the game i think. anyways press scroll lock to see if that works

You can drag the crosshair with your mouse.

Cripes I wish someone told me that before! I had to uninstall the game and now I can't get it to work again! I haven't been able to play CFS3 for two weeks!

Yeah, what is the problem with this game?  I had no trouble getting it to work, but I've heard more complaints about it than any other game ever.

The problem with moving the crosshair with the mouse is that you have to sorta fire of a few test shots, then move the crosshairs, and repeat, until you get it just right.  But some airples fire noticeably lower or higher, so you have to reset it for each airplane.  Annoying.
