So where do I place the new downloaded file for new aircraft for CFS3? I have WinRAR to view the files.

Hi Darcy, right all you have to do is copy the unzipped aircraft file into CFS3/aircraft directory.
If there are any additional gauges, guns, effects etc, those should be copied into the relevant directory in your CFS3 root directory. There is normally a readme file in the package to tell you what to do.
