Can you change a planes nationality?

I've been downloading some of the 1% planes from
http://www.avhistory.org and for the most part I must say that they are incredible! The Warhawk and the Corsair particularly stand out as awesome planes.
However, the AD-4 Skyraider and the Corsair both show up under Britain in the select menu. I have tried digging through the .cfg and the .air files but either missed it or that is not the answer. Does anyone know how to change this? Thanks in advance!

I have that program and use it, but there are several reasons why this is not desirable.

Ah ok, understood.
In that case open the xdp and modify the first line to your liking, the part that sais "shortname" and "allegiance", change the ladder to either "Germany", "Britain" or "USA".
Delete the bdp when done.
