I usually spend three to four hundred rounds for every aircraft I shoot down

Air to Air... I can't hit ground targets for sh*t!

Anyway, I am far better at dropping bombs on ground targets... I have 40% accuracy with those... And 19% with Rockets... Dammit... I can't hit a thing with them!

I have the following accuracy:

Guns: 50%
Rockets: 97%
Bombs: 75%

It's not too hard.  I wait until I am 600 feet or less from the target.  I grop my bombs in dives and with rocket, well, I guess I'm just lucky.

Let's see.
Guns: 25%
Bombs: 60%
Rockets: N/A

I mainly stick to ground targets for the purpose of progressing the line. Targets are easier to shoot on the ground.

i can't hit a thing with my rockets. i always try to hit a bridge like in the intro movie of the game. i did it only once...

can someone hit another a/c with a rocket? i can't...  

Rockets in those days weren't acurate so I guess the game is well done. I always get real close before using them and straff the targets.

About the gun acuracy on air to air fights, if you are under 50% , you are wasting amo.

Always get close and fire only if you are shure to hit the target with a long round.
You can spend nearly all your ammo doing small bursts , always hiting your target here and there, you wont shoot it down. On the other hand one second long round fully on target and it gows down (explodes, cuts wings off etc..). So dont be hasty. Be pacient.
The ideal distance is between 120 and 200 ft and of course from behind  ;D

I always waste rounds in a dogfight.  I get in 'em a lot, and I've only shot dont 7.  Don't know how many I've gotten behind and missed, or just damaged.  The rockets I'm good at now.  I like to get in close to the target, pull my nose up a little (cuz' they always go down after a while.) and fire and normally I'll hit it.  Bombing, I've just gotten real good at glide bombing.  I'm just amazed I don't get shot down a lot doing that.  The only reason I don't dive bomb is because I've 10 or 15 of my squad mates just not pull out.

Funy, we could well make a great squadron, I see we have members specialized in various areas!  ;D

Even dive bombing always miss small targets. And rockets? pffff I always aim to low, and those things seem to have a mind of their own  :-[

Rabster, how did you shot down planes with rockets?
Last night I hit a Junker twice with my rockets (explosion and all) and they didn't had a scratch

Haha ive got 98% bombing accuracy! (The other 2% is hitting me lol)
I cant hit anything with guns or rockets, both in the low teens :-/

Well I do spend alot of time dropping bombs in freeflight just for the hell of it and to see how they look in flight. In campaigns my accuracy is about the same as yours.
