Sorry if this is a tired old subject - I'm a big-jet jockey and never dabbled in CFS. Until now maybe...
I was watching a (UK) documentary this week in which a bunch of RAF graduates fresh from fligiht school were thrown into a Lancaster Simulator and asked to replicate the Dambuster mission of WW2. The idea was to see just how difficult the low flying, the nav and the bomb aiming was compared to todays computerised planes. The producers used MS flight sim (I'm guessing from the flack graphics it was CFS3) but I'm wondering if the German dams, the Lancaster and enroute scenery were add-ons or actually part of the flight sim?

Speedbird. I started a topic in the CFS2 forum on this very subject last week. As far as I can tell, the software used was the Flight One "Dam Busters" package. This is compatible with both CFS2 & FS2002. I suspect it was the inspiration for making the programme.
http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=JF-DBS-001I think they used FS2002 for the "simulator" featured in the programme & the package might well have been specially modified. Flight One were mentioned in the credits as software developers.
PS. Oops. Sorry Mathias. That Lanc looks nice.

I already have one of the Bf110's that are up. And I shall be downloading the others in the next few days. It is a really amazing model. I shall get the Nightfighter now. I like flying at night... Maybe i've found a new virtual profession...

Hehe, as I said, the G-4 nightfighters are not up yet, will come with the Lanc.
Just the G-2 "dayfighters" are available at the moment.

WOW! That Lanc looks great, can't wait to download it. Should be great fun going on strategical bombing missions but it is a shame that formations have an eight aircraft limit. Tell me, do you have any missions planned to include with it?

Wow...the Lancaster is looking excellent. I was making one in gMax. I got a finished fuselage from someone (which was excellent), but I couldn't make any wings or anything...

...
Can you make the textures look like the default CFS3 ones? I love them and the textures on the Bf110 look like default ones too.

Nice screenshots.
Just curious, has anyone heard of the "Super-Lanc."
Orenda Engines of Malton Ontario accuired a Lancaster in 1950. The two wingtip engines were removed and replaced with two Orenda turbojets. It was used as a test bed for the company until it was unfortunately destroyed in a hanger fire. It was the fastest Lanc ever built.
