OK ppl i dont know whats going on arggg. My cfs3 was running perfctly. I install pach and im getting LESS than 1 fps. I dont know why opr how.

Gunner, your not the only one who has seen poor performance with the patch. My fps has gone to pot with the patch as well, but your prolly gonna have to do the uninstall,reinstall thing a few times to get it right. It seems that sometimes when the patch is downloaded with a download manager or other progs. like get right and such, the patch gets corrupted and messed up in curious ways.If you read earlier posts, you'll find other ideas on this as well

Thanks corvete, I was friken pissed and I gave it one last shot I uninstalled cfs3 deleted the whole cfs3 folder( lost my campaighn and all other aircrafts) Oh well can do that over anyways. I installed cfs3 again. Played it for a bit without pach in free flight worked great. I install pach and I think im getting BETTER performance. If opnly the No CD worked    ;D

DAMN busted again  :-/. Also how do I disable the start up vid.  ???  :-[  :'(

Hi Gunner.
To turn off the intro movie:
Run CFS3config. Click "File" then "Custom Settings" then "OK".
Click "Window" then "Overides". Check "Disable Intro Movie". Click "OK" close it and run CFS3.

Since doing all the tweaks that are available here, I have now got a game with excellent graphics running at a good speed. My gripe now is with all the bugs that are still in the prog. i.e. Suicidal wingmen and blind gunners on bomber missions and completed fighter missions marked down as failed.
I have never bought a game that was so flawed. I really think that MS should be pilloried for this one until they give us a patch that brings  it up to a reasonable standard. It's not as if they haven't had experience with this type of game before.
Anyway. Enough of my moaning. Hope it works for you.

PS. One major plus. Since doing all the tweaks, CFS2 runs like a dream. That's where you'll find me.

Thanks alot. I haven seen to many bugs except u cant complkete a recon mission(or i dont know how). I love the game tho. lol thanks  ;D

HELP. Its a new prolem. M$ has this game on a timer i swear. One momnt it runs Crystal clear, the next I am getting stutteres. i install pach at first it made game run NICER. I think it ma be the RAMSAS Tweaks. I Install pach, do tweaks I get umm maybe One round good, if I try to play a second I have SO MANY STUTTERS  ???
