I'm broadband challenged here too so a 56K multiplayer match should be to say the least interesting, but I'll give it a try if you'd like.
I've only multiplayed half a dozen times because of my connection. For a 56K connection it seems very stable at 48kbps but still nowhere near the needed mega speed of cable or DSL. With all the combat simming that I do I can't be all that bad but I get shot down 10 or more times for every bogie that I bring down. The broadbanders see me an hour or two before I see them and have a good laugh. :)
Someday I'll be offered broadband way out here in the burbs and play a lot more multiplayer, perhaps even join a squadron.
I'm waiting on Ubi Soft/Eagle Dynamics' release of LO:MAC which is slated for September 23, so getting some flight time in on a fast supersonic jet is needed. I just received a copy of Flanker 2.5 from Amazon yesterday and will be installing it today. Hey, it was only 10 bux plus shipping. It's a pretty old combat flight simulator but with the added downloads it shouldn't be too bad. From the screenshots that I've seen at the Lomac and Flanker forums it should tide me over till September.
If you need any help, message me.
