How to add aircraft?

Hello, I am new to the forum and was wondering is there a way to add more aircraft to CFS3? It only recognizes so many planes. Is there a way to get around this?
Also is there a way to change the nationality of an aircraft. I downloaded some B-25's and a F-4U with US markings but for some reason they showed up in my British que.

Do you read the "Readme" when you download the aircraft? It should tell you have to install it.

Yes, I have read the read me files, the problem I am having is that when I add a new aircraft and start the simulator, one of my other aircraft has disappeared. It seems like I am only allowed so many aircraft in the que. Is this just the way CFS3 is? With CFS 1 and 2 I was able to have unlimited aircraft.

When I installed the airplanes I just downloaded them to my desktop, unzipped them and dropped the folders into my aircraft folder for CFS3. I am going to try removing them and starting from scratch. Maybe I am doing something wrong. I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks for the help. It's nice to know there are other CFS junkies.

Does anybody know about the WEPak from Avhistory? I read that it has to be installed with every new aircraft you download. They also have a CFS3 BDP nuker program to go along with it as well. BTW can anyone tell me how to go about installing the WEpak and Nuker from Avhistory? Anything else good or bad let me know too...

manually install everything. Don't trust the "auto installers". if you install everything by hand you know what to take out and where it is when things go wrong.

Get the folder with the aircraft.cfg file in it and put it in your AIRCRAFT Folder in your root directory. Put it in there first and look in your library if the aircraft installed is there and isn't causing problems.

You don't just overlook the tiny scrollbar in the aircraft selection menu, do you?
That's the most common reason for stock aircraft to mysteriously disappear.
Been there, done that, like many others, too.  ;D
