Screen Studders....

Hey all, new to the site

but.....have a problem hoping you guys could help me out on.

Just installed CFS3 got the 3.1 patch and all, boots up fine, but once I reach the main menu the screen seems to studder, like shake around. And in game, same problem, keeps jerking around. I've looke around these forums, and googled for many hours, but can't seem to get the Answer. ran the game on lowest settings, changed moniter resolution, updated video card drivers, messed around with CFS3config.exe, nothing stops the screen bouncing around.

I have:

-Nvidia Geforce 7800gt
-Amd64 dual core overclocked to 2.4ghz
-1 gig of ram

So I definitely meet  the minimum requirements...

Well any advice would be great, thanx ahead of time

Sounds like either your video card drivers need updating, or some background program is causing interference. Try shutting down all unnecessary programs before running CFS3 and upgrading your video drivers to the latest set ;)

What OS are you running? Sometimes you get core drift, swapping the application from core to core. There is a fix for that available at AMD or MS, I forget which.  Check here for more info  http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/showthread.php?t=21521
