1% Airfile P-51D-25 Mustang Not Showing?!

Hello All,

Wondering if anybody has any suggestions. I downloaded my first 1% airfile, the P-51D-25 Mustang and it's not showing up in CFS3? I followed the instructions, unzipped the file into CFS3/Aircraft folder. The copied the weapons folder into the CFS3/Weapons folder and did the same for the Guns folder. When I start the game and select American planes, the airfile mustang is not there. Could it be how I copied and pasted the Weapons/Guns files??

OK, I think I found the problem myself through the age old process of trial and error. I think it was how I copied the actual file into the CFS3 folder. I copied an extra folder instead, thus creating an extra step which I think created a big ol' FUBAR.

By the way, the 1% Mustang is great. Gives you the option to choose (if needed) that darn 85 gallon tank behind the you which causes that funky handling. Without it the Mustang handles so much better than the stock one. Anyone agree?  :) I wish their was a command that gave you the option to burn off the 85 gallon tank first.

Set  the  fule transfer switch  to  auto,  and   then select  the reserve  or  center tank ?
I  use that  in  my CFS2 'Sair, in  multiplayer....  I  use  the  FS  controls  in  CFS3,    and  manual mixing,  but  never  thought  to look and  see if  that  function  is  available ,  will  report  back  after  my  findings....

I know   its  all the  same  keys as  in CFS2   ,  using  those  flight controls...

CFS3 burns of all fuel tanks evenly so the only way to deal with the 85gal tanks is either not to load it or if you do load it run with an overall reduced fuel load.

CFS3's inability to select fuel tanks is the reason we made the 85gal tank a load-out option.

Our CFS2 Mustangs that have an 85gal tank can be selected to burn it first of if you get bounced with fuel in the tank to select & dump it (Red Switch)
