Combat Flight Sim 3 does not start....HELP!

Hey everyone- I've been having trouble with CFS3, and microsoft's been no help-- what a surprise that is.

Now I've had CFS3 for a while and it worked wonders, but, alas my joystick broke and I could no longer play CFS3. After uninstalling it and waiting 3 months for a new stick, I re-installed the game. I tried to start it but it would have the first loading screen (The CFS3 Screen where the rest of the computer screen is desktop) and shortly after loading it would switch to a black screen briefly, then crash back to desktop. I've tried patching the game, un-installing and re-installing it and I just cant seem to get it to work

So, anyone have any idea on how to fix this?

My subjestion for you is to uninstall CFS3 . Go to the CFS3 Folder. Clean it out. Then install.

Hopefully that will work.

After re-installing, don't start the game, but go to setup instead, and make sure you select the correct resolution for your Graphics card and the anti-aliasing your card is set for.
I had the same fault.
