CFS3 not working!!!!

Hi all. I'm a new member although I've used Simviation for at least 5 years, but I didn't think about joining the forum until now. I've just got a new PC, Pentium 4 3.2GHz, GeForce FX5500 graphics card and various otehr bits and pieces (at last). I can run Fs2004 and all my other games, but for some reason CFS3 doesn't work. I've gto the latest video card drivers, installed the version 3.1 patch but when I start the game the starting screen comes up saying CFS3 - battle for Europe with the pictures of the guy in flying goggles and a tank, etc. Then the screen goes black, the egg timer appears, and I am returned to the desktop.

Please can you offer suggestions, as I could only run CFS3 on very low graphics on my old PC, so I've never really had a chance to use it, and it sounds like a good game.

It's OK now - the no-CD crack makes it work.  ;D
