Fuel Management help

Postby randombeaner » Sat Jul 03, 2004 5:26 pm

How do I correctly manage the Fuel/Air mixture?

Ive read the help but it says to make mixture leaner until there is a drop in the EGT (fuel flow indicator) , but I never saw an EGT on my aircraft. Maybe Im not looking hard enough.

Should I start leaning right when I get off the ground or is there a certain altitude to start leaning?

or does anyone know of a good article that explains fuel management?

thanks

hey beaner I think I might have figured it out, you lean the mixture until there is a drop in RPM in the tachometer, then you increase a little. :P
