CFS3 multiplayer rearm/refuel

My brother posted this message to newgroup alt.games.microsoft.combat-flight and so far no response. The message is as follows:

"Does anyone know a better way to rearm or refuel than hitting ctrl+shift+K
in CFS3 multiplayer dogfights? It seems a crying shame to have to kill
yourself just to get a fresh plane. Doing that also makes you lose one of
your kills. I also don't like the alternative of having unlimited ammo; I
like it as realistic as I can get it! It seems there must be a way to get
back to the score/chat window and be able to select a fresh plane or even a
different plane entirely. Especially after you land at an airfield! Pushing
ctrl+shift+S gets me to the chat/score window, but the button that normally
(after you die) lets you select a new plane is gone and the "refly" button
just says,"close". I've looked through the help files that come with the
game and searched the www to no avail.

Could someone please offer some good advice. I'm not big into harikari.  ;)"

Any insight on this matter? Thanks in advance...

It isn't possible in CFS3 without have unlimited fuel on.
