a/c swap utility ?

wasnt there a aircraft swap utility for CFS3 ?? seems there was, but  when I had it , I couldnt get it to run right.
I am worried about adding new A/C's to game.... for incompatibility issues. Or worse, getting errors from  the game for the changes , in add & removing  the files for the add ons.
There has to be a way to do that without giving the game a problem.... it is so twitchy.... and hate to do yet another reinstall , when it runs great for the stuff I have in it.

I add about one or two aircraft almost every day and I have not had a problem. The only plane swap untility I can think of is Martin Wrights paint swap program for changing skins. You can find it here http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/index.htm
I find this quite useful.
