Telling your pilots to attack an airfield

When I attack an airfield, I've noticed that the only targets I can select for my fellow pilots are the AAA guns an various trucks driving around, or occasionally a parked airplane or some miscelleneous piece of junk.  You can't tell your buddies to attack the hangers, which is what you need to do in order to cross the "damage threshhold" to get a successful mission.  Although there is one target that says "airfield", all that is is a runway, and telling them to bomb it just leaves a hole in the ground and doesn't reduce the airfields damage percentage any.

Anyone else have a problem with this or know a solution?

I'm assuming you don't have your tactical map thingie set to buildings. I don't recall ever having a problem selecting hangers as targets myself, but I ussually do air to air. I'll have to go try it myself right now....(needed good exscuse to go fly  ;)  ;D )

Ok, i see what you mean.  I set the tac map to airbases, and it let me select different runways, but not the hangers.  
However, i coulda swore that it let me select hangars before. i'm gonna look into this a bit more.

I dunno, guess my old mind is remebering falsehoods this morning. I coulda swore...
 At any rate, i tell em to pick targets close to the hangers and I get lucky hits, but other than that, had to get the hangers myself.  Mabey someone else knows. srry.

going tp air field i know i am going to get a lot of kills easy. crate hanger oil barrels staf cars etc
