What this message means is that system ram has been exhausted and there isn't enough virtual memory (hard drive space allocated as extra ram) allocated to run the program. Basically you've run out of ram. I used to get this before I upgraded my ram. Try upgrading ram, 512mb total is best if you can afford it. Also try closing down programs in the background. If you're using XP, pres CTRL-ALT-DELETE to open up the system resource window under processes close down all non-system, files except explorer, try closing programs down in the task bar first.
Also some ad sites implant spyware into your computer. Much of this stuff is payware demos or stuff to gather marketing reasurch and is pretty harmless, but runs in the background and hogs system resources. I recomend a program called Spybot, it scans for and deletes this stuff for you. It's freeware and can be found doing a Google search.
