CFS3 and Windows ME Hang UP.

Hi

I have been trying to install CFS3 on my AMD Athlon 900MH, Windows ME system.  I have an Nvidia RIVA model 64/64 Pro graphics card.  

All goes well I download the required  new Nvidia drivers and install them and the game works reasonalbly well.  However when I try to use Windows and any other application my system hangs up.  I have had to completely recover my system three times and have given up with CFS3.

Can anyone out there help?
