Take a slow ride in New England!

Announcing the formation of Boston-Maine & Central Vermont Airways Virtual.

BM&CVT is a virtual airline simulating the golden days of aviation: 30s & 40s. Based on the historical airline of the same name, we primarily operate the Lockheed L10 Electra. While the Lockheed L10 Electra is the workhorse of the airline, we also operate the Ford Trimotor and the Stinson SR8 to points north of our hub at Boston Aerdrome (KBOS). As a virtual airline we strive to recreate the feel of flying in the golden age of aviation with-in the limitations of Microsoft Flight Simulator. With stops in New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Montreal, New Brunswick and Halifax as well as extended mail routes, our Flying Pilgrim aircraft fly through some of the toughest weather that northern New England has to offer. We typically fly on the VATSIM network, however that is not a requirement to join. What is required is a desire to learn how to fly old prop driven aeroplanes with-out GPS or RNAV capability relying on pilotage or VOR/NDB navigation and in some cases a clock and a compass to find your next stop.
