Probably the longest and most ambitious tour is set to begin……

Plusair Virtual Airline is delighted to announce the commencement of their 2013 ‘Take Me Home’ Tour for it’s registered pilots.

Starting on November 27th, 2013 members of the Plusair Flying Club (part of Plusair Virtual Airline) will be departing from the Cessna factory at Independence Municipal, Kansas (KIDP) in their newly collected Cessna 172’s and flying them back to the U.K. to our general aviation home at Sherburn-In-Elmet (EGCJ).

The journey will be split into three sectors - the first involving crossing North America two and a half times over a staggering 127 legs. The second and third sectors will be covering Russia and Mainland Europe/UK. At various points whilst on the tour, a number of optional challenges will also be available to participate in.

So as not to interfere with the day to day running of the airline with it’s extensive schedules and charter flights, these Club flights will be taking place on a dedicated multiplayer server each Wednesday evening with one leg being flown per week (although arrangements are in place for anyone unable to join in on these days).

All flight rules - and there aren’t many - can be viewed by registered pilots within the Pilot Centre.

This is a huge undertaking to which everyone is invited to join in with by registering as a Plusair member and you are warmly invited to do so. Low, slow, friendly atmosphere and banter – what a great way to unwind……
