Golden Era Virtual

Golden Era Virtual was created on the 23rd of December 2012, and opened to the public on the 1st of January 2013. In our short time of existence we have accumulated a small player base, and have been recognized as an official partner virtual airline to the VATSIM network. As well, as the various vARTCC's apart of the VATSIM network. Golden Era Virtual is a VATSIM only VA, using the VAFS5 ACARS system, to track flight data. The VAFS5 system enables the VA to use financial data to pay pilots virtual currency. The Va Financials system we use only allows us to fly a set amount of aircraft, based upon the aircraft we lease/own.
Our fleet only consists of aircraft from the "Golden Era" between the 1940's to 1960's. Since Golden Era Virtual has started we have always been looking for a way to make it more about the pilots, and less about the "schedule". That is a promise that will always be held.
