Type of VA you would be intrested in..

I am conducting this poll to do some research into the types of VA's that people like to fly in, to hopefully gear some advertising toward a specific customer base.

At current my VA only offers a "1 branch Military", but I am inclined to expand to a "Multi-branch." Before we do expand, I would like some input into what people want.

The VA already offers a TS3 voice communication server, as well as its own FSHOST server, as well as other perks for being an active member.

Please take the time to fill out the poll above (SELECT ONLY 1), as well as comment on anything else that you feel would be the "PERFECT" VA that you would like to be part of.

Thanks

I don't think it's quite possible to have a "perfect VA". As they say "You can please some people some of the time, but you can't please everyone all the time." I would just stick to a topic or topics that you enjoy in aviation, and follow through with that.
People who have interests that mesh with yours will then come forward.
Regarding what matters in a VA, or almost any other hobby organization.... it's not the fact that you are the biggest, but rather that your group is the closest.

some of the thoughts that I have about what would make a VA better than others.. would be:

  • group flights on prescribed days (friday night flights)
  • prearranged hops/mission
  • specialized "channels" for specific voice communications (so you dont have people talking about cars when others are trying to call out their landing intentions)
  • Moderators/Administrators generally never have to handle complaints about other members - members resolve their issues on their own.
