Choosing Requirements

At the moment Air-Glaciers VA (or AGVA for short) is trying to choose minimum requirements that anybody wishing to join our VA must meet.

The only solid, set-in-stone requirement that we have at the moment is that our pilots must be of 13 years of age or older.

At the moment, we are also considering the following requirements:

- A VATSIM account in good standing
- XX number of VATSIM flight hours (only if the above is also selected)
- The passing of an entry exam

We'd love to hear what you, as pilots, think of what VAs should require, and what you think would suit us best.

Thanks!

How about be able to fly a plane without Autopilot, or be able to fly a plane in various emergencies.

This is just my opinion, but I am not a fan of when VAs require that you have a VATSIM account. But that's just me. Because I'm not going to go create an account so I can create the account I WANT to create.
