How do VA keep track of your hours?

Posted: Sat Mar 08, 2008 9:21 amMost VA's ask you to file a "PIREP". It's a form with your starting point, your destination, the type of aircraft you used and how long it took you to fly. Some require you to fly online on their server so they can check if you filed your PIREP correctly.

Posted: Wed Jul 09, 2008 9:54 pmMy virtual airline requires you to file a PIREP for every flight you fly for Air Asheville that you want credit for. If it is not in our schedule, you won't get credit for it. The PHP script then automatically adds the hours for the flight you just filed to your logged hours if it is approved. The flight is always displayed in your logbook though. It is all database-driven though
