Concorde Virtual has a new site.http://concordevirtualairline.page.tl/
the old site on Freewebs is closing down. To join go to the Links section and join in the forums. We are still updating the site and inviting more members. CVA wants members that post regularly and be active in all VA events. The member must also log in more then once a week.

CVA is an airline that flies mostly anything. I myself fly Boeing jets. We also have a prop section for GA fliers.

Please Join this new and exciting Virtual airline.

Thanks

Don't want to rain on your parade guys, and its cool you are doing this stuff. But you have got to look at it from bussiness perspective, what does you VA offer above all the other thousands out there? There are some amazing ones, with countless features etc that you are really gonna struggle to re-produce. You gotta find something to make yourselves different, then maybe you will get some new members :)

Bit of constructive criticism, if I might.

Your post advertises "Concorde Virtual Airlines", then the website you link to (with a "Concorde Virtual" web address) points at the UK Flying Club where you're promoting GA flights...see the confusion?

The virtual airline community is inundated with mediocre, "fly by night" organizations.  A good VA, one that survives and reaches the levels of some of the major players, requires a commitment.

You're not going to get 100 members signing up on day one.  We'd all like to believe so, but it's not realistic.

If you want to create a "Concorde Airline", go for it.  There are scores of people out there who are fans of that plane.  If you want to create a GA club, that's cool too.  There is plenty of bandwidth for both.

But as someone who has flown for and operated my share of airlines, one thing I've learned that people want more than anything else is stability.

And, on the off chance you created "Concorde Virtual Airlines" without a Concorde in your fleet - that's an entirely separate issue that delves into the depths of marketing, promotion and branding!   ;)

Can I have this thread deleted please mods or admins, it keeps getting brought up when it is not needed.

Yes I owned Concorde Virtual Airline until I deserted it.
