Press Conference Summary
Manhasset, NY, May 2, 2009- Today, New York City based Empora Air announced major changes to its website and also released plans to reopen domestic European operations. The website is being designed by a web design firm and should be up within the next few weeks. The new site will contain more info on the VA as well as being more user friendly and attractive. Empora apologizes for the unorganized temporary appearance.
In May of 2008 Empora experimented with a small base out of Milan Malpensa airport. The campaign titled "Italianita", made up of 7 routes throughout Europe but was shortly ended due to Empora's dangerously low activity at the time. Empora has grown with a dedicated base of pilots, with daily flights and activity on VATSIM and IVAO. The airline has done research with its pilots as well as community members not affiliated with the VA which show that this expansion will bring new pilots and more activity to Empora. The fleet of A320 aircraft will be in Empora's standard all business class configuration. The flights will be served out of the charter/private/general aviation terminals of each airport served. Expected service to Rome, London, Munich, Paris, Zurich, Athens and other major cities.
