Hello,

   I am new to the Simviation Forums, but I have been playing FS for awhile (However, I am not that good at it). So I would just like to say HI

   Anyway, I have some questions about VA. What exactly is a VA? What do you do? I read about it in the Learning Center, but that didn't really explain what it was. Looked kind of interesting, but I want to get an idea of what it was before I join one.

A virtual airline is just that. A pretend airline. It works like the real thing. You have to fly certain routes, a certain number of hours, you can get promotion etc.
There are also virtual air forces where you can fly missions and training practice etc.
