Outstanding!

When can I fly with you Paul?

Remember though now I am on Pacific Daylight Time

PS Paul,

Central Oregon is fabulous to fly in. Lots of rivers, mountains, valleys, hills, thick & wet forests, deserts, and volcanic geography (lava flows) :D

Hello Adam!

Good to hear from you again!

I am on FSX Mutiplayer most days, but it seems to have lost its popularity now, like it did in the old days!
Trawling through the various FS Host Multiplayer Servers, I rarely see anybody on-line now, and certainly none from Simviation!

I'll keep an eye out for you Adam, remembering that we are now 4-hours apart in the Time Zones. (You on Pacific Time: GMT-4)....
...always a problem... ...!

Strangely enough, I rarely travel farther North than Santa Rosa (KSTS). NORCAL, into the wilderness!... :o ...!

Take care Adam.....and watch out for those Bears, tunnels in giant redwood trees.......and wild Oreganos!.... ...!

P.S....

The Sim V Server occasionally disappears for some reason!.... ....

..if that happens, try the FS Host, Flightsim Server....>>> fsmpa.hopto.org

This afternoon Fo-Mo-Co turned up in Multiplayer.... fsmpa.hopto.org .....

Better luck next time!... :D ...!

Would it be overly presumptuous of me to ask why the password is held so dearly?
What if a guy wants to fly with folks? Just thought I'd ask...

Speedy.... :D ...

In the olden days, in Simviation Multiplayer, we were often plagued with very small folks flying high-speed military jets, buzzing our regular, organised, General Aviation tours, and generally annoying the assembled group of Pilots, and making a nuisance of themselves.....

...as little folks are prone to do....

So...

It was decided to include a Magic Password, to keep them all at bay!

The magic password is sent to specially selected Sim V Members, via PM, upon receipt of a large bag of chocolate cookies, and a can, (or three), of ice cold Heineken Lager.

Paul....need more Lager.... ...!

P.S ...note that most of the FS Host Servers don't require a Password.... fsmpa.hopto.org ..for example!

I do remember this phenomenon in nearly any MP server on the FSX game spy debacle.
However, I'm not a bush guy, rather a heavy airliner type, so either way, I probably would not intrude on such a dignified session.

Duly noted is the cookie requirement. More importantly, the monthly subscription fee of a chilled malted beverage.

Clever man... It almost worked...

Paul, could you send me this magic password?
This is central oregon:
https://www.google.com/search?q=redmond ... 20&bih=979

We just had a lady on a motorcycle hit a black bear over the weekend!

Bears are rather rare here...you have to go over the cascades to the Pacific side of Oregon (aka the 'valley side')...that side has the red woods...we just have pine and juniper with cougars (the mountain lion kind), rattle snakes, sage rats, and a liberal dosing of anti-gov't gun obsessed outdoorsmen.

Ta for the Mail, Adam!

Redmond Residents....>>>

...and not a Baseball Hat in sight...Woo-hoo..... ....!
(..a couple of flags, tho!.... ...).

...and the Oregon population...lots of Germans...>>> http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... County.svg
...you were used to the Dutch before in Michigan....

Roberts Field Airport.
Took me a while to find it...>>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roberts_Field_Airport

I must admit, an area I have not visited before, having mostly travelled along the Pacific Coast (Interstate 1 and I5).

I will be wheeling my little Cessna150/152 out to explore the region, starting at KRDM!

Wikipedia-ing the area shows some interesting scenery, geology and weather, etc, to visit...

Looking good!

Multiplayer: Unfortunately, the Sim V Server (fs.netfrag.org) is out of action again...lack of use I suspect...so the password wont help!
I am presently choosing any of the FS Host Servers which are always available.... (fsmpa.hopto.org) for example

Cheers, Adam!
