Departure procedure on vatsim
Posted: Sun Dec 22, 2013 3:11 pmI have been looking into flying on vatsim and what my first flight should be on it. I've looked at KMEM to KTPA and found a route on simroutes ( this is the route I found btw MEM7 MGM J41 SZW DARBS2) and I saw that it starts with MEM7, so I assumed it was a DP. So I looked on Airnav to find a chart for it and I couldn't find one. I searched more and found a post ( http://www.vzmeartcc.org/wiki/tiki-index.php?page=ZME+Departure+Procedures ) that explained it and it seemed to me that it was just a vectors departure. Is that right? I have also seen that the MEM7 DP can be confusing to pilots in real life and that it might or has already been removed from the list. Thanks for the info.
