I'll have to look at this ....

Multiplayer used to be a simple sign up & join process as it should be........

PM'ing someone is ridiculous ... This needs to be fixed!

Most of the FS Host Servers are free to use.
Some of them are Password Protected (like ours) to restrict users to verified Members only, to prevent spamming the Multiplayer Server with unwanted and annoying activity during prearranged, organised, Multiplayer Sessions.

The Password is distributed amongst Simviation Multiplayer Members.

The problem we had with an open server, was most newcomers were unwilling to take the steps required to make their system Multiplayer ready.  This resulted in MANY headaches for those who had done what was necessary and spent a lot of time online.

Even the owner of the server would get kicked from his own sessions because there were those who didn't go through the port opening procedure, this is what led to the password protection.

We encourage everyone who wants to fly online to do so, but ask for the respect of going through the process required to insure that everyone can enjoy the experience.
There is always someone willing to help with the steps if help is needed.  ;)
