Date: Saturday, January 30th, 2009

Time:
1500 (3:00pm) US Eastern

Aircraft:

Piaggio PD-808RM (any livery included in base package)
http://www.simviation.com/simviation/?t ... =86&page=8

OR

Bombardier Learjet 45 (default, either livery)

OR

http://www.simviation.com/fs2004military80.htm

Flightplan/Schedule:

Aspen-Pitkin Co./Sardy Airport, Colorado, USA
http://www.airnav.com/airport/KASE

TO

Jackson Hole Airport, Jackson, Wyoming, USA
http://www.airnav.com/airport/KJAC

Distance:
Approx 315 nautical miles.

Flight Time:
Approx 1 hour, 10 minutes.
(depends on weather)

Weather Settings:
Highly suggest using built-in Real World Weather feature.
If you do not want to do that, then I would suggest "fair skies" or "cold fronts" theme.

Addons:

Aspen
     aspen04.zip

Jackson Hole
     jksnhole04.zip

Mesh:
fsg_dem38m_usrk_co.zip (Most of Colorado, except plains)
fsg_dem38m_usrk_wy.zip (Most of Wyoming, except western edge)
fsg_dem38m_usrk_eid.zip (Covers the remaining portion of Wyoming, containing Jackson region.)

Server:
Simviation's (see stickies at top of multiplayer forum)

Notes:

The flight is much more challenging and visually appealing if you at least get the mesh. If you do not want to bother with the airports, that's fine, but the mesh is highly recommended! As stated earlier, the flight is over 300 miles, and just a word of warning, the flight is very enjoyable in the mountainous areas, but there is a portion of desert that we will cross for a while, and that can be rather dull, especially without mesh.
Also, I would suggest, when approaching Jackson, that you load up one of the GPS approaches for the field, and stay at or above 10,000 until turning onto a long final approach.

Attendance:
If you plan on showing up for the event, please acknowledge in this thread. The occurrence of this flight depends on the interest of the members here.

Thank you,
-SeanTK  :)

I'll be there, but is there a chance I can do it in a Falcon 50? I found this one and I'm addicted to it right now  ;).

Certainly! Is it the one from the WSPilot's library, with all the patches for 2004?

It's a great model!

It's the one you recommended, don't know the name of it.
