FS9 isn't really that good for close up action.  Point to point racing, yes.  Side by side action, no.  The other planes will just seem to bounce around the sky, or appear and disappear at random.  Such is the limitation of multiplayer.

By racing, i mean in FSX, its the only flying game for pc which is even remotely fun.

I'll take FS9 over FSX any day all day
