This should be posted down in the multiplayer section  of the forums. ;)

In multiplayer you dont' get the default AI traffic or ATC. If you want something like that go with VATSIM or IVAO. ;)

SimV has its own server. All the info you need are in the Multiplayer section of the forums down below.

Welcome to SimV ;)

Hello Johnny....

As Alex has mentioned, visible AI Traffic and Air Traffic Control is only available in default, non-Multiplayer, Solo Flights...;)...!
(That is where you learn Aircraft management and Radio Navigation).

Default Radio ATC is not possible during "On-Line" Flights.

You can only communicate with each other, via the "Chat Window" or via "Teamspeak".

Once the program is up and running, press "Alt" and the menu will appear at the top of the screen.
Select "Flight" and in the drop-down menu select "Multiplayer > Connect", type the Sim V IP Address: 85.10.244.109 into the box which pops up, press "Search", and when successful, press Join, and you are away!

......have a peek here at any time to see who is "On-line"...>>>>

Have fun, and remember to apply Multiplayer etiquette with other users on line...;)...!

I use just a simple DSL Modem plugged between the USB socket on my computer to the 'Phone socket on the wall....

No ROUTER necessary, or used...so no Port problems...;)...!
