Just a few things you'll need to know for the show...

SimV Airshow Rules

Upon arrival of the server, make your way to the airshow location, which is:

TKPK - "Robet Bradshaw Intl"

After having finished your display, taxi over to the spectators' area and switch to the spectator aircraft, the Paper Aeroplane.

When you are approachin the end of your display, let us know! Type "landing" or "last pass" in the text box so we know when the next pilot can prepare to takeoff.

The Display Line follows RWY 7 / 25, and the Spectator Area will be the ramp by the airport building.

Try not to speak whilst talking to the pilot flying - you might put them off ;)

Finally, if a pilot (or display team) request no speaking at all in the text box, please comply with their request and don't say anything.

MrJake2002 and myself have been granted admin powers on the server for the show, so failure to comply and/or disregard for other pilots will result in us banning you from the server temporarily!

Thanks for letting us know Nemo... :)

NOTE - The Airshow has been cancelled tonight due to lack of numbers. It has been postponed to a later date which will be discussed, and if the numbers are too small again we shall cancel this show, and POSSIBLY further shows, for good.

Show Organisers......

The day that you can rely on Sim V Pilots to turn up for an arranged event will be that day that Jordan knocks on my front door and asks me if she can stay for the night... ::)...!

...what are the chances of that?... :-/...

Paul...G-BPLF... ;)...!

I know what you mean Paul, a really good chance they'll turn up ;D

Seriously though, for the first few shows the numbers were brilliant, and people were very comitted! Shame about the last few shows...

Oohhhh.... I missed this one before.  If it is postponed, is there any room for an additional display performed by myself?
Would seem quite fun to take part in!

Perhaps you can set the date after I release the finalized Jet Truck. I'm pretty hopeful that it will draw a crowd. ;D

Whenever I think about the amount of time and effort that our young Organisers put into arranging various Air Shows, Tours, etc, and the number of Sim V Pilots promising to turn up on the day.....but never do!...

....I am always surprised that the Organisers continue to be enthusiastic about it!... :'(...!

They have my greatest respect for all the effort they put in, and I always make every effort to support them, either as a participant, or as a spectator...;)...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004... 8-)...!

we have a large group of several people who fly airshows, mrjake knows us and cspyro you might too.  We are done until october as our real airshow season begins and we wont have time to put into airshows, so our virtual airshow season starts and ends when our airshow season start and ends.  All of you are welcome to join, we have a seperate forum we use for talking about it, if you want to know about it PM, i think its against the rules to post links about other forums.  To reiterate, our show isnt until october, we usually run 1-2 per month from october-april with good numbers of people. the more we get, the more variety we see.

Any updates to this Simviation Airshow?

I would be interested in participating depending on when the event is held.
