It would be probably be a good idea but it does require a lot of organisation.

Take my most recent show for example....

..as has Jake said...

It has to be organised professionally.... :)....

....or not at all!... :-[...!

Paul...G-BPLF... 8-)...!

If you are really keen, you could PM a couple of your Mates, and organise your own Flights in Multiplayer....
..as long as they don't clash with the regular Week-End Multiplayer Tours/Air Shows.
Or HOST your own flights with your Mates, using your own IP Address?
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Have you been to a good virtual airshow before?  If not, you really should before trying to put one together yourself.  There are two coming up within a month, one on here and one on AirshowBuzz.

Not trying to be insulting, but I have seen people talk a big game about making the best virtual airshow ever only to find out they haven't been to one!  If you know how to do it though, go for it!

The rules for most of them are pretty much the same.  There will be a certain aircraft that all spectators are supposed to be in (paper plane for SimV shows, PA Dude for AirshowBuzz ones).  You'll want to sit in the designated crowd area and be sure to turn your engine off.  Then just sit back and watch, probably using virtual cockpit view and panning to follow the performer.  Some acts have music and narration that will be played on Teamspeak, so most of the chatting is done in the text box.

Don't change your aircraft during the show as it will lag everyone and can really screw up acts.

Come join us sometime, more people is always better!

Yeah, it really is best to attend a virtual airshow before you try and organise one yourself.

Haha, no worries.  It's all in the name of fun anyways.

There will be a link to the required spectator aircraft in the particular show thread.  You'll have to download a whole bunch of planes for an airshow if you want to see them correctly.  Here at SimV they post a link to each aircraft flying so you can download what you don't have.  Over at Airshowbuzz we collect all the planes that will flown in the show and make one big .zip file for people to download.  Much more efficient we think.

There isn't really an 'enter' order, just a time that the show starts.  It's best to join up a few minutes before but really no big deal.  Like I said, the whole point is fun so if you do something 'wrong', oh well.
