Postby fulanito_uk » Fri Feb 08, 2008 8:27 am

Hi i have fs2004 and a good internet connection so why not mix them and fly online? how do i do it? is Vatsim hard to get into? thanks. any pointers would be great! (i'd like to fly with the pmdg 737). It seems a lot harder than IL2 the other simulator which i fly online.

And to view who is on line (if any)....>>>>

....it's all easy-peasy!...(If you DON'T have a Router!).

If you have got a Router then your problems are just starting...

...the DREADED "Port" problems... :'(...!

Have a read through all the recommendations on "Opening Ports" in this Forum....Otherwise you will constantly get disconnected..(and get other Flyers disconnected!!).... :o...!

Paul....G-BPLF....Simple Modem and no Router.... [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]...!

P.S. This will probably convince you to throw the bleedin' Router away!.... ;)....>>>>

Example: To Connect to the Sim V Server.....>>>>

Image

Enter your name.
Enter Sim V's Server address.
Search.
When it connects....
Press "Join"

Sorted; All in 5 seconds...;)...!

...and don't forget to regularly check here, to see if any of your Chums, (or enemies!), are on-line!..;)...>>>
