Multiplayer Tours v Weather conditions...

Hello Chums...

I notice that some of our Multiplayer Tour Chums select/use "Real Weather" for their flights.

This can sometimes introduce adverse weather conditions into the Sim, eg: Poor visibility, low cloud, storm clouds, mist, fog, strong winds, icing conditions, etc, and would therefore, under "real" conditions, prevent a safe flight during the Hop...!

...which is the reason your old Mate Fozz always selects a "nice" day, with good visibility, few or no clouds, with very light/no winds often allowing take off/landing on either end of the runway... :-*..!

What do you reckon?

Would you take off for a Flight Sim Tour if the Weather Man told you to stay on the Ground!?

LOL... ;D...!

Paul...G-BPLF...looking at the sky, and making a decision... ;)...!

...Would you fly into a Thunderstorm?... :o...!!

Note that the Sim V Tours ALWAYS specify General Aviation, propeller (piston/turbo-charged/turbine) aircraft, which are always affected by various weather conditions, unlike Commercial Passenger jet propelled aircraft, ....
...(which are not allowed in the Sim V Tours!)... >:(...!

Paul...G-BPLF... 8-)...!

It depends a bit on where I fly. Most of the time I start the tour with real weather on, but if it gets to bad I switch to fair weather. But only when online. If I fly solo I push on no matter what kind of weather. I have had many Piper Cubs blown out of the sky.....

Crash ;)

I use real weather just for the fun of it. I wouldn't mind having a clear day or two once in a while.

Real weather is more...real. If your not flying an accurate flight then do whatever you wanna. I only turn off RW weather when there is not enough visibility. No visibility for commercial aircraft flights is fine but when you wanna do VFR. No.
