Xyn_air,
Multiplayer is really the place for anything that relates to online flying. The reason is actually kinda' simple...... those who REALLY know much about multiplayer have a tendency to check in here more frequently. Yes,, you'll get more POSTS in the FS2004 or FSX sections...... but a lot of those posts will

The reason is actually kinda' simple...... those who REALLY know much about multiplayer have a tendency to check in here more frequently. Yes,, you'll get more POSTS in the FS2004 or FSX sections...... but a lot of those posts will be less than helpful......... coming from folks who THINK they know what is going on since they used multiplayer once.
It's about quality, not quantity.
Another factor that is UNFORTUNATE is that not a lot of people actually USE multiplayer, either in fs2004 or FSX. And multiplayer users in FSX is WAY lower than with fs2004 at this point. So having multiplayer by itself sort of makes sense...since the topic applys to only a VERY small minority of FS users in general no matter WHAT version they are running. Sh'kata ga arimasen, ne.
The real "hardcore" multiplayer folks are on VATSIM in droves. Which uses it's own whole interface software. And at any given point in time there are hundreds and hundreds of aircraft in the air in real time. And maybe 50 to 100 controllers too. It is absolutely AMAZING. BUT..... you'd better be the equiv. of a real world PPL holder before getting on there... because it is "by the book" all the way. You don;t jump on there flying a 737 unless you probably are already close to the skills of a RW ATP pilot!
