I came across this thread (clicky) and discovered that it may be possible to see each others aircraft, without having them in your aircraft folder.

OK...We need to organise a multiplayer session now!

It's great to have some feedback on this at last but one report hardly busts any myths. It makes no difference to me but it would be nice if a few of you multiplayer types would get together & give this a proper test. Even if it doesn't work what possible harm would it do?

I've read that the tweak did work for previous versions of FS/CFS but was likely to cause lag & hangups depending on your connection. This was before most people had broadband so it might be different now. I suspect it would probably work best over a LAN setup.
