I want to fly in your virtual airshow!!!

Postby IcraveAkro » Sun Apr 15, 2007 11:02 am

I fly a 11-12 minute demonstration using Warwick Carters P-51D Mustang in either the "Cripes A' Mighty" or "Crazy Horse" liveries. The demonstration includes loops, rolls and cuban eights and is flown as if the 'stang was an actual restored warbird with special attention being paid to fly under the structural limitations of the aircraft.

Can't say I've ever seen a Mustang do a roll as part of it's display (bar a victory roll, but thats different). My routines (and in my experience of seeing them in reality) in warbirds generally last about 4 maybe 5 minutes.

you should see Ed Shipley and Lee Lauderback fly their "Horsemen" demonstration

I'll stick to UK pilots who don't fly a Warbird in the same manner (obviously not as tough structurally) as an Extra 300 thanks. ;)
