Just a few things that spectators and participants will need to know:

SimV Airshow Rules

After arriving at the server, please make your way to LIPA - Aviano Mil, Italy

After having finished your display, please taxi to a parking spot and select the Paper Aeroplane to spectate in.

When you are flying a display, and are preparing to land, please be sure to type "landing" in the text box so the next pilot can prepare.

On the map below, the red box indicates the spectators' area. We ask that you refrain from flying over this area. The balck arrow represents the main display line (RWY 36):

Try not to talk to the person currently flying - you could put them off ;)

Eh? I thought the crowdline was going to be the side facing the mountains?

We should have checked this through! ;D

I though we had the crowdline on the other side too, so we had the mountains as a nice scenic backdrop:

I feel we didn't organise that too well. ;D

My bad - it was early in the morning, I'd forgotten which side the crowdline was on and I was in a wee bit of a rush ;D

Looks like I gotta update my website again. ;D

By the way, I created a repaint for my Semi Truck. I call it "Big Daddy". ;D

You can get it by clicking HERE. This is just optional. If you're not taking shots of the event then don't bother downloading this. But if any of you are going to take shots, then I recommend you do.

Sorry for the last-minute change.

In that case, make sure you switch to the default paint before hand, so that the truck will actually show up.

Is there going to be a commentator on teamspeak? I think this has been done at previous airshows but im not sure.

Dango will likely be narrating my F-22 demo, but he may have to run to go see VFAT.  About the music for my show, looks like the connections here at my dad have gone down a grade, so not sure if having 4 computers on a simple dsl line is going to be the best thing.

BTW.......one of our maneuvers in the Super Hornets will bring us in from behind the crowd.  This is perfectly legal in the real world...(the Blue Angels do it, the Thunderbirds do it, the Snowbirds do it so on and so forth).  As long as you do not perform an AEROBATIC maneuver over the crowd, it is legal to be above the crowd.  If you have questions, check the FAA and ICAS rule book. ;) ;)
