There is a change in the radio part of the event. Instead of the airspace being unicom, RhinoIL will be Handiling all inbound and outbound traffic. so yes you will have to now call for landing and takeoff clearance. dont forget there will only be 1hr and 30 mins to get to the airport before the show starts.

LETS HAVE SOME FUN YOU GUYS AND KEEP IT SAFE IN THOSE VIRTUAL SKIES!!!!

When you guys are coming in, I will have a checklist of who is supposed to be here for the show.  If, when on approach or entering traffic, if you would let me know type, make, and model and then where you are, and if you are here for the show as a performer or a spectator.  Also let me know direction and distance from the airport.

I will then get you into the pattern.  Expect landings on Runway 1L and Runway 1R and departures on 1R.  If everyone comes in fairly smoothly expect a straight in, however, if we get a lot of traffic, expect to be doing a pattern.  If EVERYONE could be on teamspeak that would be great so I dont have to type everything! (I believe that is one of the requirements for the show.)

SimVBBMF, I will likely launch you 10 minutes before showtime so you guys can get setup east of the airport, and I or flyboy will shut down the airspace directly @ 18:30 GMT.  Expect first pass by the VBBMF at 1830 GMT hack on show center.  From there, its all out of my hands and into Flyboy's.

Lets have a great and SAFE show everybody!
Rhino

Sorry guys, I've been playing around all evening but it seems my mic will not work for whatever reason. I have Team Speak set up and working and I can hear people, but I cannot talk back. If this is going to be a big issue for the show I will have to pull out as I will not have time tomorrow to get into town and get a new mic. Sorry chaps.

That should be fine. Even though I do have a working mic, I'm not planning on talking. I prefer listening to music. ;D
