Sorry I had to leave so soon lads. I would have loved to have finished the hop but since I sprained my left ankle yesterday and probably torn the muscles inside (don't know the English word for it) I was in to much pain. Need to let it rest for a while. So see you on the next hop (hopefully with a lot less pain).

Crash(ed) ;D

I tried to join in just a few minutes after the scheduled departure time, 8:15 PM GMT (9:15 PM here).
It took me four times to join the session: the first three attempts locked my computer for like one minute and ended in a "can't join" error message.
When at last I was able to join, the group was near KRIW, so I parked my Lancair there just in time to see the guys flying past me. D'oh, no landing at KRIW!

...so that accounts for the fact that you could only use right rudder...
...and therefore went round and round in ever-decreasing circles until you finally disappeared up your own..XXXX... ;D...!
LOL...!

Sorry to hear about the sprained ankle, Crash. Always a very painful injury... :'(...!

It was a FAB flight as usual, and although the flight distance was quite long, at our trusty Beech Baron speeds it was completed in a mere 1-1/2 hours... :o... ;D...!
LOL...!

Cheers, Lads...!

Hi ThursdayNight... ;D...!

Sorry to hear of your probs during the flight... :'(...!
Very strange...you don't normally have difficulties in joining Multiplayer flights...
..do you have the dreaded "Router" and Win XP "Firewall" problems...?
...(I don't...tee-hee...)... ;)...LOL... ;D...!
...all I managed to get was your remark "Bike Carburettor problems sorted!", ...just before we lost you... :o...!

also...
...like Crash said...trying to type in the Chat Box is a definite no-no, when you are desperately trying to line-up with the runway in the last few seconds before touch-down...LOL... ;D...!
...everything suddenly goes VERY quiet then...LOL...!
Ultimate concentration is No. 1 priority at a time like that...
...trust me.. ;)...!
LOL...!

Cheers Friday... ;D...!

Paul... 8)...!

P.S. Glad to know your carburettor if finally carburating... ;D...!

I tried to join in just a few minutes after the scheduled departure time, 8:15 PM GMT (9:15 PM here).
but after everybody had landed at KTHP I tried several times to address the guys but got no answer.

That could be the lag then, because I replied to you three or four times whilst on the ground at KBYG, the last stop - that was the first time I had seen you in the chatbox, perhaps I missed you earlier because I was sorting out frequencies & bits & bobs in the cockpit.

Ah well, roll on next Tuesday,

TSC.

Let's hope it was a transient network problem! I'll try again today to join the SimV server.

Funny that...

"Transient Network Problem"... :o...!
