Short Notice: Virgin Globalflyer liftoff

Hello all, i am relatively new to this forum and this sim, but i am not new to aviation. I've used free sims for years and am genuine impressed with this sim...

Etc, etc.

Tonight at 8:30 EST i will lift off in the Globalflyer by Scaled Composites in an attempt to go around the world nonstop. This is why i bought this sim, and it will be extremely fun flying it. Expect me online almost every day after 8:30 or so to fly this route in managable chunks. I invite everyone who is still up to head down to the NASA Shuttle landing facility in Titusville Florida at 8:30 to watch the liftoff at 8:45. I would also hope that some people bring some high-flying, medium-speed planes to offer chase...

Because it'll get lonely up there VERY quickly... :P

Thanks in advance if you come,

Aaron.

There is a thread with a link to the plane called Scaled Composites Globalflyer by me.

I will fly the flight non-stop Sim-time, lol. one takeoff, one landing (or crash...:P)

I'm going to use the SimV server... Unofficially, but that's where i'll be. Hope it's not a problem.

I'll be getting on shortly, and i will lift off at 8:45. I will stop the session probably over england, where i'll pick up tomorrow.

EDIT: I am now starting my sim. Get online if you have questions please...

Happy Landings,

Aaron

I guess you can just Ctrl-Shft-f your way up to us when you get home...

I launched from X-68 because that's where he took off the second time. Besides, the strip is a lot longer.

However, we (or at least I) won't continue to britain after i've completed my RTW trip, which is what he did. he was insane. I'll be landing at x68 when i'm through.
